Things to Do
Coarsegold may be a small town but there are a number of things to do. It is located very close to Yosemite National Park and Bass Lake, making a great location to go for day hikes. There is also the weekend market taking place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, where local vendors sell goods in the lower parking lot of the Village. This can range from locals having a garage sale to selling crafts and antiques.
Coarsegold’s weather is great year round because it gets warm in the summer but cools down enough at night. In the winter, it gets pretty cold but not unbearable. There are also sledding hills nearby to take a day trip to the snow.
