Fresno is large and diverse, with something for just about everyone. Here are a few of the most popular neighborhoods in Fresno:
- Van Ness Extension (roughly bordered by Marks and West Avenues from Shaw Avenue to the San Joaquin River) has large lots and beautiful custom homes. Riverside Golf Course and Sierra Sport & Racquet Club are located within this neighborhood.
- Fig Garden (bordered by Palm, Shields, Maroa, and Shaw Avenues) is home to Christmas Tree Lane and is known for its mature trees, large lots, and combination of different architectural styles of homes. Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club and Fig Garden Village Shopping Center are nearby.
