According to Realtor.com, the median home listing price in Fresno in April 2022 was $370,000. That’s up 16% over last year.

The median home sold price in April 2022 was $332,000.

Also of note, Fresno homes sold for an average of 1.9% above asking price in April 2022.

What are some of the most popular neighborhoods in Fresno?

Fresno is large and diverse, with something for just about everyone. Here are a few of the most popular neighborhoods in Fresno:

  • Van Ness Extension (roughly bordered by Marks and West Avenues from Shaw Avenue to the San Joaquin River) has large lots and beautiful custom homes. Riverside Golf Course and Sierra Sport & Racquet Club are located within this neighborhood.
  • Fig Garden (bordered by Palm, Shields, Maroa, and Shaw Avenues) is home to Christmas Tree Lane and is known for its mature trees, large lots, and combination of different architectural styles of homes. Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club and Fig Garden Village Shopping Center are nearby.
  • Northeast Fresno (bordered by Friant Road and Nees and Willow Avenues) is close to Woodward Park and River Park Shopping Center, and it has Fort Washington Golf & Country Club and Copper River Country Club within its borders.

How many new listings are there in Fresno each month?

When this blog post was published, there were 600 homes listed for sale in Fresno. According to Redfin, Fresno homes sell after an average of just 8 days on the market, so many of these current homes for sale are new listings.

How many homes are sold in Fresno each month?

On average, there are about 693 homes sold in Fresno each month (based on a 8,322 total homes sold in the last 12 months as reported by Zillow).

Redfin reports that there were 476 Fresno homes sold in April 2022. That’s down from 535 sold in April 2021.
